Tomorrow is the anniversary of D-Day (the Allied invasion of German-occupied France in 1944). If you are fortunate enough to know anyone involved with this operation, please thank them for me.
Okay, this has been another busy week for in my life and in front of the computer. From family reunions to trips to the Atlanta Fox Theater, the days have been packed with events. But that doesn't mean I have slacked off on the editing side of things, and that is the real purpose of this post.
I believe I will finish with editing the next Star Runners by the end of this week. I will send the book to proofreaders and beta readers for the next process. I've mentioned this before, but this is an enjoyable time for any novel. As of right now, I have been the only person to see the book. I haven't told anyone of the story or what is going to happen. I still have a healthy fear when I send it off that first time and allow fresh eyes to give it a look. I have been writing since I can remember, and I don't think I will ever not feel that fear with a new work.
The other novel I have mentioned on this site is currently being read and edited. It will soon be sent to the beta readers. I haven't said much about the project. I plan to remedy that shortly by providing a blurb for the book. However, I would like to announce in this post that this new novel is set in the same universe as Star Runners. I don't want to spoil the story by giving away too much.
There is also another project in the works that I am very excited about announcing to all newsletter subscribers in the near future. If you would like to subscribe, visit www.StarRunners.net and submit your email. I only send out a newsletter when there is news to announce, so don't worry about spam! :)
I hope you all have a great start to June!
